قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ (البخاري ومسلم)
“Whoever Allah wishes good for, He grants him understanding of the religion.” (Al-Bukhari & Muslim)
In every age, the believers who hold firmly to authentic Islamic knowledge are those who safeguard the Ummah from misguidance and confusion.
It is through knowledge that hearts are illuminated, worship becomes correct, and the message of Islam remains pure, untainted by innovations and falsehood.
At Mahdu Daaril Aathaar (DAI), we believe that seeking sound, evidence-based knowledge is not optional. It is a duty, a form of worship, and a path that leads directly to the pleasure of Allah and ultimately Al Jannah.
Islam begins with knowledge. The first revelation to the Prophet ﷺ was:
اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ (العلق:١)
“Read in the Name of your Lord Who created.” (Q96:1)
Before the command to pray, fast, or give charity came the command to read and learn.
This shows that guidance cannot exist without knowledge.
Al Imam Al-Bukhari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Knowledge precedes speech and action.”
A Muslim’s worship, da‘wah, and conduct are only accepted when based on a sound understanding of the Qur’an and Sunnah, as understood by the righteous predecessors.
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ (مسلم)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever treads a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.” (Muslim)
Every moment spent learning for the sake of Allah — whether reading, attending a class, or revising a text — is an act of worship that raises a person’s rank in this world and the Hereafter.
Allah says:
يَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ دَرَجَاتٍ (المجادلة:١١)
“Allah will raise those among you who believe and those who have been given knowledge by degrees.” (Q58:11)
True knowledge is not measured by the number of books read, but by how much it brings a person closer to Allah and improves their obedience to Him.
The Prophet ﷺ warned that near the end of time, ignorance would spread while true knowledge would be lifted.
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَقبِضُ الْعِلمَ انْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنَ النَّاسِِ، وَلَكِنْ يَقبِضُ الْعِلْمَ بِقَبْضِ الْعُلَمَاءِ، حَتَّى إِذَا لَمْ يُبقِ عَالِمًا، اتَّخذَ النَّاسُ رُؤُوسًا جُهَّالًا، فسُئِلوا، فَأَفتَوا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ، فضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوا (البخاري)
“Indeed, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He takes it away by taking away the scholars, until no scholar remains, and people take ignorant ones as leaders; they are asked and they issue fatwas without knowledge — and thus they go astray and lead others astray.” (Al-Bukhari)
This hadith teaches that ignorance is the root of misguidance.
When people seek knowledge from unreliable sources, such as social media, unqualified speakers, or emotional trends, the result is confusion, division, and a loss of clarity.
Therefore, seeking authentic knowledge from qualified teachers and trusted sources is a protection for one’s faith.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فِرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ (ابن ماجه)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” (Ibn Majah)
This means that every believer must strive to learn what they need to practice their religion properly.
The journey towards knowledge never ends; the more one learns, the more humility and fear of Allah fills the heart.
Allah says:
إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ (فاطر:٢٨)
“Only those who have knowledge among His servants fear Allah.” (Q35:28)
When knowledge is authentic and accompanied by sincerity, it transforms the soul.

It is the greatest inheritance after Prophethood, as the Prophet ﷺ said:
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: الْعُلَمَاءُ وَرَثَةُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ (أبو داود)
“The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets.” (Abu Dawood)
Authentic Islamic knowledge is not a luxury. It is the lifeline of faith.
Without it, the heart wanders; with it, the believer finds direction, purpose, and peace.
